Sabrina Pérugien (sperugien@em-strasbourg.eu)
I am a PhD candidate in management science at the EM Strasbourg Business School of the University of Strasbourg. Prior to my PhD, I successfully completed a master degree in Marketing & Strategy. I also completed my undergraduate studies in International Relations in Paris-Sorbonne University where I undertook an internship with the IEREM (Institut d’Etudes et de Recherche Europe-Méditerranée). The objective of the institute is to promote the rapprochement of the Mediterranean’s two coasts by organizing meetings, colloquiums or all kind of initiatives encouraging inter-personal or inter-institutional knowledge. I had the opportunity to work in a multidisciplinary environment by mobilizing the best specialists of the immigration’s issue, crossing demographic, juridical, economics, sociologic and anthropologic analysis : this is how I started to gain interest in Diversity Policies and Management. Since october 2009, I’m doing a PhD and work as a Diversity Project Manager (Intervention Research). My role is to translate EM Strasbourg Business School’s Diversity Strategy into actions (and to identify its effects), which is a challenging, but enriching experience.
